| Depart Christchurch early morning and travel to beautiful Lake Tekapo. Continue to Mt Cook National Park which boasts New Zealand’s highest peak. Time to take an optional scenic flight (own expense, weather permitting). Continue on to Queenstown. Overnight. |

| Enjoy the beautiful scenery of Fiordland National Park enroute to Milford Sound. Cruise past spectacular Bowen Falls and majestic Mitre Peak. Overnight. |

| Spend today exploring Queenstown. Overnight. |

| Visit Lakes Wanaka and Hawea and view spectacular rugged West Coast scenery through Haast Pass enroute to Franz Josef Glacier. Overnight. |

| Day at leisure to maybe take a scenic helicopter landing and a guided walk on to the glacier (own expense) or explore the beautiful rainforest. Overnight. |

| A highlight will be the journey on the TranzAlpine Express train through the Southern Alps. Arrive into Christchurch at approximately 6:05pm for departure. |
