Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and thereafter proceed to Kandy. Enroute visit the Spice Garden in Matale to see different spices for which Sri Lanka is famous for. Here one can experience how some of these spices are grown and processed, thereafter witness a cookery demonstration. Proceed to Kandy, check into the hotel. Afternoon city tour of Kandy, the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings and is a World Heritage Site, including the bazaar, the arts and crafts centre, a gem museum, a lapidary and visit Temple of the Tooth Relic, in the evening witness a cultural show. |

Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed to Pinnawela, visit the Elephant Orphanage. This is conservation and educational centre and a scientific captive-breeding programme for elephants.
After the tour, return to Kandy. Enroute visiting the Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya. This garden was first built as a pleasure garden by a Sinhala king and was expanded by the British. It is 147 acres in extent and provides an amazing variety of trees, plants and flowers. |

Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed to Nuwara Eliya, enroute visit a tea plantation and a tea factory, where the best tea in the world is produced. Here one could observe the complete process of manufacturing tea and grading. Taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea in the factory.
Visit Nuwara Eliya, its invigorating mountain climate and scenery, Sri Lanka's most popular hill resort. Nuwara Eliya also has one of the finest 18 hole golf courses in South Asia. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya. |

Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed to Kitulgala, enroute view Waterfalls St Clares and Devon. The Kelani River (the broadest river in Sri Lanka) flowing through Kitulgala was the main location where the Oscar winning movie Bridge on the River Kwai was filmed. On the hill above this town, a prehistoric cave was recently discovered containing large middens of shells from some unknown civilization. Thereafter proceed for a city tour of Colombo. Overnight stay in Colombo. |
