Mannai Holidays has been officially appointed by "Singapore Embassy – Qatar" to submit the Visa Application electronically, with effect from November’2007. The process has been simplified for the benefit of the applicant. No more sending the visa applications and passports by courier service to embassies at neighboring countries and wait for weeks together. Depending on the nationality, the visa will be granted within two to seven working days.

Documentation requirements for visa application:

• Visa Application Form (Form 14)
  
  
• 2 recent passport sized photograph of the applicant must be affixed onto Form 14A. The photograph must be: 35 mm wide by 45 mm high without border and taken within the last 3 months; taken full face without headgear, unless the applicant habitually wears a headgear in accordance with his/her regious or racial custom but the headgear must not hide the applicant's features. The facial image must be between 25 mm and 35 mm from chin to crown; taken against a plain white background.


• Scanned Digital color photograph of following specifications
  • Image file must be a JPEG file format
  • Image file must be less than 60 Kbytes
  • Image dimension must be 400 x 514 pixels


• Applicant's original passport together with a copy of his passport bi-data page and Qatari residence/work permit, if applicable. Please ensure that the passport is valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into Singapore.


• Applicant's letter from employment addressed to Singapore Embassy is must for all nationalities- stating the salary


• Documentary proof of travel bookings etc. Flight schedule (printout), Hotel confirmation if any, i.e. hotel voucher (or) letter of invitation from Singapore if going for Business purpose. ( please mention the number of times you wish to enter Singapore i.e. whether you are applying for Single / Double or Multiple Entry Visa, under Period of Visa/Visa applied for at Part II of Page 2 of Visa Application Form);


• Letter of Introduction (LOI) in (PDF format) from a local company or company in Singapore (sample of LOI). Level 2 nationals are specially advised to provide LOI for their travels to Singapore. Official letters from Ministry of Foreign Affairs or other government ministries (with English translation) from government ministries will also be accepted.

Visa Fees: QR 130 ( cash only ) per person - this includes the process of visa application + getting visa stamped on passport

** Visa fee is non refundable once the application is submitted, even if the visa is rejected. Visa approval purely depends upon Singapore immigration authority.

Processing Time

The normal processing time for application for visas:-
For Level 2 countries is 5-7 working days excluding the day of submission and the week-ends. Level 2 nationals include the following countries: Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, Yemen, and holders of Palestinian Authority Passport, Temporary Passport issued by
the United Arab Emirates and Refugee Travel Document issued by Middle-East countries as well as Pakistan and Bangladesh. Thus for a visa application submitted by a Pakistani national on 15 June, the visa will probably be only ready for collection the following week on 22 June.

For Level-1 countries, the processing time may vary between 2 – 3 working days, excluding the day of submission and the weekends. Level-1 countries include the following: Commonwealth ofIndependent States (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine,

Qatari nationals who hold a valid Qatari passport do not need to apply for a visa to enter Singapore.

SOCIAL PASS :

Entry requirements for Americans: United States passport holders do not require a visa for travel to Singapore for a stay of up to 30 days, provided they obtain a free Social Visit Pass on arrival. Extensions are possible for a fee of S$40.

Entry requirements for UK nationals: British passport holders do not require a visa for travel to Singapore for a stay of up to 30 days, providing a free Social Visit Pass is obtained on arrival. Extensions are possible for a fee of S$40.

Entry requirements for Canadians: Canadian passport holders do not require a visa for travel to Singapore for a stay of up to 30 days, providing they obtain a Social Visit Pass on arrival. Extensions are possible for a fee of S$40.

Entry requirements for Australians: Australian passport holders do not require a visa for travel to Singapore for a stay of up to 30 days, providing a Social Visit Pass is obtained on arrival. Extensions are possible for a fee of S$40.

Entry requirements for South Africans: South African passport holders do not require a visa for travel to Singapore for a stay of up to 30 days, providing a Social Visit Pass is obtained on arrival. Extensions are possible for a fee of S$40.

Entry requirements for New Zealanders: New Zealand nationals require a valid passport, but no visa is necessary providing a Social Visit Pass is obtained on arrival. Extensions are possible for a fee of S$40.

Entry requirements for Irish nationals: Irish nationals require a valid passport, but no visa is necessary provided they obtain a free Social Visit Pass on arrival, valid for 30 days. Extensions are possible for a fee of S$40.

Passport/Visa Note: Travelers should hold confirmed documents and tickets for onward or return travel and enough funds to cover their stay. Male travelers with long hair are advised to tie their hair back on arrival. Women who are six months pregnant or more may be refused entry. All nationals, regardless of visa requirements, may be issued with a Social Visitor's Pass on arrival allowing for a stay of 14 or 30 days provided their visit is for touristic or business purposes. Extensions are possible for S$40, but the initial Pass is free. Passports must be valid for at least six months from date of arrival.
