Day 01 Hanoi – Arrival

Meet on arrival at Hanoi / Noi Bai International Airport and transfer to the hotel for check in. Dependinng on the arrival flight we will do a city tour in the afternoon including Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple and the Old Quarter. Accommodation.

Day 02 Hanoi – City Tour

Breakfast at the hotel.
Full-day city tour including visits of the most remarkable sites as Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (closed on Monday, Friday and whole October-November for maintenance), his former Residence, the One Pillar Pagoda and Army Museum (closed on Mondays).Continue by the visit of the Temple of Literature, built in the 11th century as Vietnam’s first university, the Fine Arts Museum and Quan Thanh Temple.Water Puppet Show, the unique Vietnamese traditional art. Day 03 Hanoi - Hoa Binh - Hanoi

Breakfast at the hotel.
Drive 75 km to Hoa Binh (around 2hrs driving time). Take a boat trip on Da reservoir, visit some ethnic minority villages surrounded by rice paddies, farms and houses-on-stilts. Visit Yang Mo villages by car. This area is home of many hill tribes including Muong and Dzao ethnic minorities Drive back to Hanoi. Accommodation

Day 04 Hanoi – Halong

Breakfast at the hotel.
Drive to Ha Long (180 km) via the town of Hai Phong. Short sightseeing tour in Hai Phong including the Du Hang Pagoda and Hang Kenh Temple. Continue by road to Halong. Arrive in Halong, transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

Day 05 Halong Bay – Hanoi

Breakfast at the hotel.
Discover Halong Bay, listed as World Heritage of outstanding natural beauty. The picturesque Halong Bay has more than 3,000 limestone islets rising from the clear emerald water, many of them containing beautiful grottoes. Take a 4-hour boat trip and  visit some of the caves. Seafood lunch on board (excluding beverages). Drive back to Hanoi and transfer to the hotel.  Accommodation.

Day 06 Hanoi – Hue

Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to the airport for flight to Hue, the royal city of Vietnam’s last ruling dynasty. Upon arrival in Hue take a boat trip on Perfume river to visit Thien Mu pagoda. Time permitting we will visit Minh Mang Tomb, some Km out of the city. Accommodation.

Day 07 Hue - Danang – Hoi An

Breakfast at the hotel.
Visit the Imperial Citadel and Tu Duc Mausoleum then depart to Danang across the Hai Van Pass (Pass of the Ocean Clouds), passing through many pretty red-tiled villages with fruit orchards, enjoying spectacular views of sky and sea. Visit the Cham Museum, the Marble mountain and China Beach before proceeding to Hoi An. Transfer to hotel. Accommodation.

Day 08 Can  Tho  -  Hui An

Breakfast at the hotel.
Discover the historic town, which used to be a prosperous seaport city during the 16th to 18th centuries. Visit Hoi An market, Tan Ky old house, Fukien Assembly Hall, and Japanese covered bridge. Afternoon: leisure time. Accommodation.

Day 09 Hoi An - Danang – Nha Trang

Breakfast at the hotel.
Drive to Danang and transfer to the airport for flight to Nha Trang. Visit Po Nagar Cham Towers, a sacred Hindu site dating back from the 2nd century AD. The tower was built between the 7th and 12th centuries and is still used today as a place of pilgrimage for the Cham and Vietnamese Buddhists. Continue the sightseeing at Long Son Pagoda. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

Day 10 Nha Trang – Dalat

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart Nha Trang for Dalat, a cool mountain resort. Visit to “CRAZY HOUSE” on the way. Dalat is one of the most enjoyable places in Vietnam due tu its lakes, waterfall, evergreen forests, gardens and cool temperature. Upon arrival in Dalat we will visit the summer Palace of the Emperor Bao Dai, Xuan Huong Lake and the old train station. Accommodation.

Day 11 Dalat – Ho Chi Minh City

Breakfast at the hotel.
Visit the flower garden and depart for Ho Chi Minh City with stopover to visit Prenn waterfall. On the way you can make some stops to see tea, coffee and rubber plantations. Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

Day 12 Ho Chi Minh City Tour

Breakfast.
City tour including: the History Museum (closed on Mondays in which case this visit will be changed), the former Presidential Palace, Central Post Office and Notre Dame Cathedral. Afternoon visit a lacquerware workshop, Thien Hau Pagoda, Chinatown and Binh Tay market. Accommodation.

Day 13 Ho Chi Minh City - Tay Ninh / Cu Chi Tunnels

Breakfast at the hotel.
Pick up at the hotel for the excursion to Tay Ninh church, center of the Cao-Daism religion which combines Buddhism, Christianity, Taoism and Confucianism. Lunch en route. Visit Cu Chi Tunnels, an amazing complex of the underground tunnels used during the Vietnam war.

*Alternative programme: Coach trip to My Tho (2-hour drive from Ho Chi Minh City) and visit Vinh Trang Pagoda. My Tho is a prosperous town of 170,000 inhabitants in the Mekong Delta. It is famous for its extensive orchards and immense rice fields.  Enjoy a boat ride  on  the Mekong River and visit an orchard on an island, with lunch en route. Drive back Ho Chi Minh City.  Accommodation.

Day 14 Ho Chi Minh City – Departure

Free time at leisure before the transfer to Ho Chi Minh City / Tan Son Nhat International Airport for departure.
